Tonight's Dinner - Wonton Soup and Dessert

Tonight we are having wonton soup. This is based on my late grandfather's recipe. If you recall, he is from Canton. Most recipes call for a chicken broth. My grandfather made a hearty broth from beef soup bones, cabbage, onions, carrots and celery. He cooked the soup until the meat fell of the bones.

Since we had leftover wonton skins, I cut them up about a half an inch think and deep fried them in a Fry Daddy. My mom sifted confectionery sugar on them and they are quite tasty.
